The short version

• Your photos stay on your iPhone. We never receive them.
• Memory Tin has no accounts, so there is nothing to sign up for.
• We do not use your advertising identifier.
• We do not sell your information.

What we collect

• Usage information: how the app and its features are used, recorded under an identifier generated on your device. You can turn this off in Settings.
• Technical information: device details and reports on how the app performs.
• Purchase information: your subscription status. Payment is handled by Apple, and we never see card details.
• Details you choose to give: what you write to us, and the details needed to help you.
• Advertising information: if you choose to watch a rewarded video, our advertising partner processes device and ad interaction information to show and measure it. Those ads are non-personalised.
• How you found us: the campaign that brought you to Memory Tin.

How we use it

We use this information to run and improve Memory Tin, provide your subscription, show the ads you choose to watch, answer your messages, understand how people find the app, and keep the service secure.

• Contract: to provide the app and your purchases, and to answer your messages.
• Consent: for measuring visits to this website and, where the law requires it, for ads. You can withdraw it at any time.
• Legitimate interests: to measure and improve the app, understand how people find it, and keep the service secure.

Who helps us

We work with service providers for analytics, hosting, subscriptions, advertising and support. They process information on our behalf so that Memory Tin can work. Purchases go through the App Store.

This website

memorytin.app measures visits only if you agree. It also keeps your choice and the link or campaign you arrived from in your browser. Our hosting provider processes standard request information to serve the site and prevent abuse. If you contact us, we use what you send only to reply.

How long we keep it

We keep information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. What is stored on your device goes when you uninstall the app.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or object to processing. Write to support@memorytin.app. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

Memory Tin is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
